Our Roots
Arthur's grandmother, Viola, was by any measure one of those rare people who made every room warmer simply by being in it. She had an effortless gift for making others feel welcomed and cared for. People who knew her didn't just admire her kindness, but they measured themselves against her. Today, Viola's integrity serves as our north star. When we face a difficult decision, we frame our thinking in the same way she would have. The answer will always point toward kindness, integrity, and putting people first.
The second part of our name is in remembrance of Adam's Grandfather, Leon. As a first-generation immigrant who grew up through the Great Depression, he was not afforded many luxuries in life. He never let that stop him though. At 17 he joined the Navy and became a decorated war veteran and successful business owner in his own right. Leon understood above all else the importance of perseverance and hard work.
