Privacy Policy

How Vi-Leon collects, uses, and protects personal information. Last updated June 5, 2026.

Vi-Leon (“Vi-Leon,” “we,” “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use https://vi-leon.com(the “Site”), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email vlbackoffice@vi-leon.com.

Information we collect

When you fill out a form on the Site (the contact form, the “Apply to work at Vi-Leon” form, or a quick-inquiry form on an industry page), we collect the information you choose to submit, including:

  • your first and last name;
  • your email address and (optionally) phone number;
  • your company affiliation and the area of interest you select;
  • the free-text message you provide describing what you're looking for;
  • if you identify as a consultant or job applicant, the resume file you attach (which may include education, employment history, and other professional details);
  • technical metadata your browser sends automatically (IP address, user-agent string, timestamp), used only for spam filtering and abuse prevention.

We do not deploy advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or behavioral profiling on this Site.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to:

  • respond to your inquiry and route it to the appropriate recruiter or hiring manager at Vi-Leon;
  • evaluate you for a current or future role at Vi-Leon or at one of our client companies (for consultant / job-seeker submissions);
  • maintain a record of your inquiry in our customer relationship management (CRM) and applicant tracking systems for as long as we are evaluating or actively communicating with you;
  • comply with our legal, tax, and contractual obligations;
  • detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security issues affecting the Site.

Who we share your information with

We share the information you submit with the third-party processors we use to run the Site and our recruiting operations. Each is contractually bound to handle your data only on our behalf and in accordance with applicable law. They include:

  • Bullhorn(CRM and applicant tracking): create a contact or candidate record in Bullhorn when you submit a contact or consultant inquiry, including your resume if you attach one. Bullhorn's privacy notice is at bullhorn.com/privacy-policy.
  • Greenhouse(internal applications): when you apply to work at Vi-Leon, we create a candidate and application record in Greenhouse. Greenhouse's candidate privacy notice is at greenhouse.io/privacy-policy.
  • Resend(transactional email): we use Resend to deliver the recruiter-notification email triggered by your submission. Resend's privacy notice is at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
  • EmbedSocial (LinkedIn posts widget on our News page), which embeds publicly-available LinkedIn content. We do not share your submission data with EmbedSocial.
  • Vercel and Upstash (hosting and storage): the Site is hosted on Vercel; admin configuration and submission state are stored in an Upstash-backed key-value store.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose your information when required by law, when responding to a subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Vi-Leon, our employees, or others.

How long we keep your information

We keep submitted information for as long as we have an active relationship with you or for as long as is reasonable to evaluate you for current and future opportunities. We will delete or anonymize your information sooner on request (see Section 6).

How we protect your information

We use technical and organizational measures designed to keep your information secure: HTTPS in transit, encryption at rest on our hosting providers, password-protected administrative access, and least-privilege controls on which staff can view what. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your information has been compromised, contact us immediately at vlbackoffice@vi-leon.com.

Your choices and your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have one or more of the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • the right to know what information we hold about you and a copy of it;
  • the right to correct inaccurate information;
  • the right to delete your information;
  • the right to opt out of any future communications from us;
  • the right to withdraw consent for our processing of your information.

To exercise any of these rights, email vlbackoffice@vi-leon.com with the request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (45 days for California residents under CCPA, 30 days for EU residents under GDPR).

California residents:we do not sell your personal information; you do not need to submit a “Do Not Sell” request.

EU/UK residents: the legal basis for our processing is (a) your consent, given by submitting a form, and (b) our legitimate interest in evaluating you for placement or hiring opportunities. You may withdraw consent or object to processing at any time using the contact email above.

Children

The Site is intended for an adult professional audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email vlbackoffice@vi-leon.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be communicated via the Site banner or by email where reasonably possible.
